World View
The intent of this page is not invite debate but is here for your information.
I’m a creationist.
What’s that got to do with nutrition?
World views shape our thoughts and how we relate to the world around us and the world that is us.
I am creationist. I am a holistic nutritionist and continue to be a student of holistic health. I do so from the position of intelligent design.
Some may find my approach refreshing since much of the natural health and real food arenas are saturated with secular humanism and paganism. Others might be annoyed.
I make no apologies for any irritation that ensues, any more than the other side does when I find myself sifting through materials that are impregnated with their ideologies.
Finding Balance…
Unfortunately not all my offerings, links, books articles etc. share my view on design. As stated before, much of the material concerning natural health and nutrition comes from an evolutionary mind set. But that is not say to it has no value. Many times the evidence that an evolutionist sees can just as easily and much more rationally be viewed as design.
Green OR Mean?
Different “eco” views..
I have coined the phrase sustainable stewardship. I did this in attempt to distinguish my position from that of the UN’s “sustainable” agenda.
The former is what I consider a primary human duty; to care for the earth as our home, to be serious about its care, not using the awareness of limited resources as a means to control others nor to waste resources in an effort to be lascivious.
The latter degrades the value of humans and is on a global mission to eradicate private land ownership. It is the highway to communistic forms of government that endorse the state controlling every aspect of human life; health-care, food supplies, education, faith, speech, reproductive rights, etc.
We need to care for the earth…don’t we?
YES we do
BUT
Do the right thing
for
The right reasons.
It really does matter what your mind set is.
We need to cherish and protect the earth. It’s OUR home and we are to govern its resources wisely. But don’t be naive. There is a collision of ideologies going on.
Back to Nutrition..
Because of my conviction that I am a created being I strive to understand the design that is me. Since I am created then I can understand my design because it is the result of intelligent design and not the random processes of evolution.
I am aware that all creation adapts to their environments over generations. That however is not to say that one species evolves into another.
We have a serious problem…
In effort to increase production and profitability, our food supply has been radically altered during the last 50, years. On the one hand our bodies have not been able to keep with the changes. On the other hand we are breaking the design laws of nature. Both are stressing our physiology.
I strongly believe that we will not be able to adapt to the changes that occur outside the design perimeters of nature. This will leave us vulnerable to an unprecedented wave of “new” illnesses. We are already seeing this manifest after being subjected to genetically modified crops for the past 8 years..
So why am I telling you this?
As a wife and mother it is important for to me know the value system behind the influences that effect changes in my life and the lives of those I care for. I am sure that my readers are as discriminating. By including this page in my resources, you can make an informed decision as to whether there is value in the materials that I offer personally or the resources I glean from other web sources..
If we’re a fit I’m blessed to have you! If not I sincerely appreciate your time in taking a look.
Keep Food REAL !
Judith
