yet many of today’s kitchens function more like the company break room.

There was a day when food was thoughtfully prepared from basic ingredients, most of which came from the local economy if not the backyard itself.

Much of what we call “cooking” consists of opening packages, bottles and cans purchased at the mega low cost food mart, than assembling the ingredients   in a color by number   style and heating up the results.

In this kitchen environment   the conventional range gets very little play time because the   microwave is stealing the show as well as the remaining health in the food being prepared.

Many cooking; shows, books, home party plans and trade shows marketing to middleclass moms, focus not on preparing truly healthy foods but on having family time around the table. That’s cool, but families should eat Well together, not just consume the latest combination of advertised food stuffs that the billion dollar food industry is churning out into the grocery markets.

The major thrust of all this is convenience. Voices, in the market place, are chanting that we don’t have the time, that we need a fast fix for our hunger, a time saver so we can get on with the important things in life like working, shopping and playing.

But seriously, we all still have the same 24 hour day as did  our  grandmothers,

not to mention a battery of labor saving devices at our disposal. So it’s really not about, not having enough time, but rather, what are you doing with YOUR time.

To further make the point that our food industry has gone berserk is all the controversial nutrition disinformation.

Are we really so gullible to believe that food products, created months   ago, in  food stuff factories , hundreds if not thousands of miles from our kitchen, are  really healthy??? So what if it doesn’t contain artificial colors, or artificial preservatives, is low fat,  all natural or even organic. It’s old, processed and there is a reason that it doesn’t spoil on the store shelf and in our pantry cupboard….there is nothing left to decay!  It’s already dead.

It is an empty harvest.. a ruse to make you think that you have when you don’t.. unfortunately you spent your money on their product didn’t you?

The money that you earned being too busy to cook for yourself..

Do you need these types of products??? Is it conceivable to live without cold breakfast cereal or the hot ones in the cute packages that come in all the nifty flavors that you just heat up in the M-wave?  Could you find the time to make your bread from flour you’ve milled yourself?

Are you even a little curious as to how to make it happen for you and your family?

YOU CAN!!!!!!  It isn’t hard. You just need to learn how , understand why and then you are off to creating your own Kitchen Counter Culture.

Yeah I’m into the REAL Food thing …I’m NOT quite sure what you mean when you wrote… “think you were from Portland or something”… [grin] I agree that farm subsidies are out of line see link http://www.heritage.org/research/agriculture/bg2043.cfm..

The thing is,  basic fruits and vegetables are not subsidized just the biggies..rice, wheat &  corn… Geez don’t get me started about corn…

The concern I have is that BIG agri BIZ is crippling this nation via not only their disgusting farming practices and screwing with nature through genetic modification but also by  destroying our rights to produce food locally… they want a monopoly on the food supply.. Follow the money and it gets real creepy real quick..Last Days stuff !!

Bills are being passed so quickly with NO transparency AT ALL….  It takes action groups like Farm to Consumer Legal Defense to stay out in front of it .

That’s what I want to address….

I am most decidedly NOT a liberal/socialist

..but I am also not overly pleased about the greed that is devouring our Nation through unethical capitalism. It seems that without God’s Law written on their hearts,  people are corrupted by money and power. It would appear some are corrupted so completely that their regard for fellow human beings is diminished in favor of profits. [duh!]

The food supply issues that are afoot are not limited to these once UNITED STATES.

There is a worldwide ravaging of the basic, essential liberty of being able to produce or procure healthy food stuffs as well as an eradication of health care freedoms. http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/

Global Corporate interests are insuring their own survival, or rather the survival of the elite that own them, while the average person is an unsuspecting cog in the machinery that produces their wealth. The person becomes a measly consumer… of no value except for what he or she can buy or if they are clever, what they can market on behalf of the corporate entities  aka the new masters.

Now don’t misunderstand me I like wealth…There is nothing intrinsically wrong with being wealthy, however when the LOVE of Money overtakes the heart, the result is a wickedness that is grotesquely unfathomable.

It is this wickedness that

• Places toxins in the drinking water
• Allows known carcinogens in the food supply
• Markets health robbing products to children
• Creates a placebo life through the use of advertising and entertainment
• Punishes or undermines worthy passions and convictions among our intellectually blessed
• Controls scientific debate and discovery in order to protect their interests

What we have now is an economic system that increases the risk of illness so that it can profit by administering quasi health care.

It is no wonder the U.S. Government wants, not a mere piece of the pie, but the whole damn thing.

While we are not being used as batteries we are certainly being used as consumer mice on the cash flow wheel of commerce.

I know I am not alone, standing in amazement

at the rapid involvement of government in all things human….food, water, shelter, health, reproduction, and environment. Under the illusion of protection these fundamental aspects of living are being increasingly seized by legal controls.

While the people mice run on the cash flow wheels of life and acquire their daily rations of mind numbing entertainment, food additives that destroy cognitive ability, prescription drugs that undermine normal body functions, ingest or inhale, via pollen, altered DNA from genetically engineered plant life that can create random alterations in their own cells wrecking havoc not only for themselves but subsequent generations.[…whew!]

I trust the intellectual abilities of my readers to KNOW that this is not a political partisan issue…

The trap is to think that one side or the other is better or more righteous.. This divides the people into ineffective groups that war  and rail against each other while the real dirty deed doers go about their business.

Yeshua was clear in addressing the factions of HIS day…we should learn to be so wise..

I was surfing through the You Tube videos and stumbled upon this incredible woman, Charlotte Iserbyt. She has been involved in the educational system of this country all of her adult life with her most prestigious appointment being senior policy adviser on education in President Reagan’s Department of Education. She is the author of the book the deliberate dumbing down of america – A Chronological Paper Trail: A Chronological Paper Trail

As a parent and a home educator I  want to pass on this information. I think it is important to see all the pieces of the “dumbing down” puzzle and how they fit together to create a one world order..or as Iserbyt says

” one world disorder”.

It’s a package folks… our education system,the water supply,  the toxins in the food mis-information through the media

We are being manipulated in ways that seem too sinister to even consider..

Gen 6:13  And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them;…….

The violence is more subtle in our country  elsewhere…. not so much…

The American people have walked into a well laid trap..and it doesn’t matter the party that you  identify with. Both sides are playing the same game. Our supposed 2 parties are just 2 sides to the same coin.

Wake up and stop allowing yourself and your children to be poisoned in body by polluted  food and water and vaccines. Stop being poisoned in mind by  toxins in the food making it easier to be manipulated through mass media , entertainment and unfortunately government education.

It’s time for some REAL Counter Culture Living!
