In GOD We Trust ?   Not so much anymore…

Our youngest daughter went to a patriotic celebration Wednesday evening  God and Country Festival info click here. This year it wasn’t quite as spectacular since the request for the U.S. Air Force   to preform a fly over was denied .   The reason given was was that the word GOD appeared on the web site…

“The Obama administration decided to turn down our request for a military flyover to honor our veterans at the 43rd Annual Treasure Valley God and Country Festival that took place on July 1, 2009, even though we have had flyovers in the past.”

I really hope that  Americans will WAKE UP and see what this administration is all about ..It’s about Change all right… Changing into the kind of government that many of the immigrants pictured in the above video were fleeing from.

I thank GOD for those immigrants. They were faithful and thankful enough to BECOME U.S. citizens legally and then continued to build this country and most did not try to  undermine and destroy it.

I know this post isn’t about food real or otherwise..but it is about freedom…and a way of life

The current administration and it’s radically far left ways is falling right into step with Stalin and Hitler..and if you think those men were great you are defiantly on the wrong  blog site.

All that is lurking  in the wings might have to befall this country… But there is verse that comes to mind…..

If my people, who are called by MY NAME  shall humble themselves and pray and seek MY face and turn from their wicked ways THEN will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2nd Chronicles  7:14

I know  in this passage the GOD of the BIBLE was talking to Solomon after he had dedicated the TEMPLE in the LAND of ISRAEL but I think God will hear us here and now in our time and in this land.

Corporate greed , socialistic ideology , and immorality are eating away the strength of this country… Our Constitution is being blatantly dismissed and our rights are slowly being eroded away all in the name of  “peace and safety”.

Benjamin Franklin said “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

This July 4th I will be honoring the memory of my GOD fearing ancestors that came to this continent in the mid 1600′s grew and  flourished and eventually their descendants took part in the American Revolution.

I will honor the men in my family tree that fought in the wars of 1812,  the War Between the States, both the World Wars and Korea.

I will honor and respect  MY husband who fought in Vietnam. He has seen first hand the dangers of  communistic forms of government.

I will honor a young woman that I know very well, who tried to serve her country in the USAF but was unable to because of a sexual assault  and harassment by both her superiors and lesbians. (all of which were allowed to stay in the service)

I will honor and pray for the brave hearted soldiers that are returning home after their tour  of duty only to be labeled a terrorist threat.

America  is MY COUNTRY  and if things continue as they are…..
I’m going to miss it..
Off to buy a an organic watermelon for tomorrow… God Bless
